Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to walk into Perranporth?
An easy 15 minutes walk along the Saints trail will take you right into town.
How close is Bolingey fishing lake?
50 meters, the lake is across the road from our entrance.
Is there WiFi on site?
No, but there is excellent mobile phone service connecting to a 5G network
How close is the pub?
There are a variety of bars, restaurants and takeaways in Perranporth itself, with the closest being The Bolingey Inn which is just 200 metres from our entrance.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, no. Due to the presence of wild animals on site, we’re currently unable to allow pets for their safety and yours.
Where can I park my vehicle?
We have a very generously sized car park on site.
Are children allowed?
Unfortunately, not at the moment. The site was once a fruit and veg nursery filled with large glass greenhouses. While we’ve done our best to clear everything, there may still be hidden hazards that make it unsafe for children right now. We’re hoping to make the space more child-friendly in the future.
Do you offer transfers from the nearby airport or train stations?
Yes. We have a 7 seater van that can accommodate for any transfer needs.
Can we pitch our own tent/use our own camper or caravan?
Although we have no space for campers or caravans at Woods 2 Waves, we do offer single-night tent pitches. We have 4 plots available and the best way to check availability is to contact our team.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We’re currently staying at Woods 2 Waves in Perranporth and are having such a lovely holiday. Tristan is incredibly helpful, friendly and welcoming, and there’s a brilliant atmosphere here. My little boy has especially loved meeting Ginger the cat! A wonderful place to stay—we would highly recommend it.Posted on Google![]()

The Shepherd hut is lovely. Hot running water. Hot shower. Flushing toilet. Nice little fridge. The bed is very comfortable. Charging points for mobile phones. The situation is beautiful. Bunny rabbits and deer hopping about. Birds of prey in sky. Tristan is a great host. He'll make sure you have everything you need. I would love to return one day.Posted on Google![]()

Such a special place - the pictures do not do it justice. We were three friends looking for a weekend holiday in Cornwall and couldn’t have asked for anything more. The tent was spotless, the bed super comfy and Tristan was so kind and welcoming. Fab brewery / pizza spot 10 min walk away and some fab bakeries nearby as well. Would absolutely come back again.Posted on Google![]()

This is a hidden little gem near Perranporth and Bolingey. The cabins are quaint and comfy. There is plenty of kitchen items and bits on there for two people. The bed was really comfortable and well made if a little high. I am quite short so I had to hop to get on the bed however that's more a me problem than the cabins problem. The pub was lovely owned by a young couple who are hoping to do more live music and stuff. The cider was nice and local which was also ideal. It's about a 15 to 20 min walk to Perranporth. It's a lovely stroll down the canal to the river and then into town. Well signposted as well. During the summer months the town is busy and full of tourists and there is plenty to do. Taxis are inexpensive to get you back to your cabin when you are ready to come back and there is a rank to use as well. So all on all. We had a great time and will be back at some point for a mini break even though we live only 30 mins up the road. Cheers.Posted on Google![]()

Perfect getaway in Cornwall would recommend to anyone. Peaceful location and easy to find. Awesome Airbnb with a lot to do around the camp like table tennis and corn hole which was very fun and kept us busy. The tent and facilities were in excellent condition. We had a fantastic stay at Woods to Waves Retreat in Perranporth Cornwall. The caravan was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Sitting around the fire pit in the evenings was a real highlight and made for a great atmosphere after a day of activities. The surfing experience was excellent, with a friendly and knowledgeable host who made everyone feel welcome and helped us get the most out of our time in the water. Whether you're a beginner or have surfed before, the instruction and local knowledge were first class. We also had the chance to see the shepherd's huts, which were beautifully presented and looked like a lovely option for anyone wanting a cosy countryside escape. The location is perfect for exploring the Cornish coast, with stunning scenery and easy access to the beach. Overall, Woods to Waves is a brilliant place to stay if you're looking for a mix of relaxation, adventure, and a warm welcome. We would happily return and highly recommend it to others.Posted on Google![]()
